Deann Lanz brings more than 24 years of experience in various development, land, and legal capacities to her role at R3 Renewables. Prior to joining R3 Renewables, Deann held various positions at numerous renewable energy companies including Pattern Energy, Clean Line Energy Partners, and BP Wind Energy.  Over the course of her career, Deann has supported the development of hundreds of miles of transmission lines and more than 3 GW of clean energy projects.  She has also helped facilitate the partnering and financing of over $3 billion worth of energy generation assets. Prior to working in renewable energy, Deann served as counsel for Mayer Brown international law firm, where she spent more than a decade representing Fortune 500 companies in all aspects of improved and unimproved real estate, including large multi-asset portfolio transactions. Deann graduated Magna Cum Laude from Valparaiso University and obtained her JD, Summa Cum Laude, from Tulane Law School.
