Mr Oxman has worked in the GIS field for four years, in both telecommunications and renewable energy development. His skill set leverages a programmatic approach to spatial analyses, with a particular emphasis on analyzing data at scale. Prior to working in GIS, Mr Oxman taught middle school science. After leaving the teaching field, Mr Oxman pursued a MSc at Colorado School of Mines, becoming the first graduate with a degree in GIS/Geoinformatics from the school. He also has a degree in Geology from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. Mr Oxman enjoys climbing, hiking, photography, ceramics and music in his free time.
